The bridge is a simple block structure, with the doorway and portholes cut and drilled into the panels before they were cut out of the sheet plastic. Care was taken to make sure the corners were cut square, and that the structure was glued together neatly. Any small gaps can be filled and smoothed with a file or abrasive paper, but remember you cannot ‘add’ accuracy after the parts are stuck!

A couple of internal walls were added to help stop the side walls bow inwards. Liquid glue was used for this assembly applied with a fine (size 0) paint brush.
